I’m Magen, your new travel companion. I grew up southern and am now based in Chicago (13 years and counting!) That makes me part Louisianan and part Midwestern.
One of my very first memories was the Splash Mountain finale scene at Disney World in Florida. Our yearly family vacations were always the highlight of my summers. We made memories together, we didn’t squabble, we saw both new and old things. Best of all, they always asked little bitty me where I wanted to go. I was a part of the process even at a very young age.
Nowadays, I’m half of a duo (DINK 😉). We travel to familiar places (we’re Disney adults!) and lots of new places. We mix the nostalgia of the familiar with the wonderment of the new. We know that we’re making nostalgic memories on every trip, and we treat it as such. (ahem… Nostalgic Travels!)

We love road trips and beautiful views. We’ll pay extra for the balcony. We’ll take detours just to drive through some mountains.
