Car Essentials Because We Want You to be Prepared

Someone stole our car! Let’s not talk about that part, it’s so sad. đ But now we get to stock a new one.
We take tons of road trips, so we keep a stock of essentials in our car at all times because we’re nothing if not overprepared. Plus, Ashley always says, “A car rides better when it’s clean.“
Here’s a list of our car must haves!
By the way! We share lots of stuff like this over on Instagram. Be sure to follow us!

Console Requirements
- Vitamin C tablets because we take extra when we’re out and about. It’s an immunity booster and we don’t like to be sick!
- Floss picks because you never want your road trip snacks to stick around in your teeth.
- Tissues because Magen cries a lot. (Seriously!)
- Advil & Excedrin. You’ll be glad to have it handy if you need it.
- Hand lotion, and be sure to use it. Nothing worse than dry uncomfortable hands while you drive. This is our favorite, but here is another great one.
- Stain remover pen because eating and driving sometimes has collateral damage.
- Lint roller so you always look good.
- Napkins. Self explanatory and a requirement.
- Small organizer pouches to put everything in so it isn’t a complete mess in the console. These are lifesavers.
- A console organizer is so helpful and useful so the most important items are on the top. This brand has several kinds for different car types.
- Charging cables.
- Big hand sanitizer sits in the cupholder, but we keep some small ones in the console.
- Lip balm.
- Mints– i’m so happy to have these after a meal when we have a long drive.
- Sanitizer wipes.
Other Equally Important Essentials
- Organizer! It’s a lifesaver for the trunk.
- Gloves– and not for warmth but to wear when you’re doing the dirty jobs like pumping gas or cleaning the bugs off your bumper.
- Disinfecting wipes. These also double as a cleaner if you have a spill, but they’re a must for disinfecting uses in case you drop your phone on the bathroom floor of a gas station. (đ¤˘)
- Interior cleaner and protectant so your displays aren’t dusty.
- Bug remover. If you have driven in the south you know this is a lifesaver.
- Dash protectant and shine. We love a clean car, can you tell?
- If you have leather seats, this will save you some heartache if you have a spill.
- These are the only type of towels you should use for cleaning the interior, they’re the best!
Safety First!
- This small but heavy bat. It’s used for self defense and batting practice since it’s heavy, but the small size makes it easier to keep in the car.
- Emergency seat belt cutter and window breaker.
- First Aid Kit. I’ve needed and used one before and I was really glad to have it.
What did we miss? Anything else we should add?
